Android Application Development projects revolutionize the way we use mobile phones. With Android Application Development, ideas turn into software, and users now have the ability to create new and better ways to share data. According to a Nielsen survey in April of mobile consumers, 36 percent of US smartphone consumers now own an Android device. At this current growth trend, Android is expected to become the top mobile platform by the end of the year. This rapid growth can be credited to the increasing amount of mobile phones with an Android OS, along with the growing number of apps available for download.

The number of apps released continues to grow at an increasingly rapid rate. With well over 200,000 apps currently available for download in the Android App Market, some would think that every possible application has already been created, they would be wrong. With numerous applications being developed by various agencies, there are new android mobile apps being developed and released every day. Recent reports even suggest monthly Android app downloads will exceed competitors by June of 2012.

Development of an Android application can start with a simple idea and blossom into a ground breaking app that thousands of people can take advantage of. Many businesses are getting into application development as a way of connecting with their customers. Consumers today are always on the go and don’t have time to sit in front of their desktop or laptop. With Android application development, these same customers can still easily connect with your business while not having to worry about being in front of their computers.

Android application development allows for new and better ways to share data. Digital cameras for example, will soon become obsolete. There is no need to carry that bulky camera around, waiting for a chance to take a picture. All of today’s new mobile phones are coming equipped with cameras for photos and even HD video in some cases. Application development has created an ability to take photos and video with your Android mobile phone and send it to any or every contact in your phone with the push of a button.

Smartphones can be used for just about everything. The days when a phone was used solely to make calls are soon forgotten. Android application development is changing the way we use mobile phones in every way. From the way we communicate with each other, listen to music, or the way we meet new people. All of these can now be done differently with the use of our mobile devices.

Once I read a medieval timed fable during my childhood of a horseman riding down the road. He met three men at particular distances on his way. The first man he sees looked like a carpenter and was with a chisel and hammer, working on a piece of log. The horseman asked the carpenter who looked quite angry and frustrated, “What do thou think ye doing?” The carpenter answered in an upset voice, “I am trying to chip away this piece of log and it is a tiresome job.”

The horseman moved on and at a spread, he found another one with the same tools and a piece of wood. He was neither sad nor much happier. The horseman approached him and asked the same question. The man said, “I am carving a piece of wood.”

The horseman galloped at a stretch and before long, came across the third man who was also with the same articles as in the earlier two cases. As the horseman enquired him with the same question, he said, “I am making an altar for my Lord’s house.” The horseman was surprisingly delighted to see that the third man was humming a famous Christmas carol while working even when it was hot and humid.

Why do we work?

This might be a funnily strange question to anybody. Of course, we work to put an uninterrupted flow of food on our table and roof over our heads. This kind of a reply usually comes up with a slightly monotonous voice, seemingly making it obvious that they do everything in their workplace, only for money. However, if this situation is totally true, then what about living legends like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, who generate more than the GDP of Luxembourg, annually. Yet they toss themselves so hard at work as if their dinner depended on what they would earn during their lunch. Research professor at University of Massachusetts, Robert Weiss when surveyed people on if they would still continue to work, if they had a distant, unknown uncle who passed a million dollars in inheritance to them? Comparatively, eight out of ten persons believed yes. So, this tells us that working in an office or anywhere is not all about money. But what is it about then?

Before the recession ate everything, there was a time when people had plenty of reasons for working for their companies. They could proudly yell, “Hey, I am a part of Facebook.” Or somebody telling you, “Proud to make the world’s best thirst quencher, Pepsi,” and it meant a lot for them and respect from others. Psychologists say this is as co-dependency, explained as mutual care and hope for both the employer and the employee. Yet, there are places that have seen changes with time, especially the flat-level organizations today, who offer less than what was promised at the time of interviews for better jobs.

In short, nowadays, hard work is less a criterion to promise success than before. Employees are not provided with the same benefits with what our fathers and grandfathers received before. Probably, the rules of the corporate game reserve have changed. In fact, the prizes go to those with superfluous reasons. This suggests that if people are not turning for those seemingly big opportunities, then what is tempting them?

In a study on 30,000 employees in the US, 47% of them said that they only work for what makes up the most positive aspect in their professional life. Other hopes come secondary. Just like the medieval carpenter who believed on his own impression of work, people look into their hearts before to the corporations.

Why Would You Join Retina Software

I read somewhere about one Martin Rosenblum, who is an Archivist in Harley Davidson. He said that every morning, he wakes up early to get to the office only because his company has soul. There really is something that pumps up the enthusiasm and intrigues every mind about their tasks. That’s the same spirit that Retina Software has in common.

Working at Retina Software is a humbling experience for ones who work here as the organization offers an environment of real-order-and-rule, you make this, sort of atmosphere. People feel comradeship, effort, the intellect of success in a team and most of the ones play their games with the changed rules. They work here to satisfy what they feel inside their hearts keeping financial outcome aside.

Conducive for a meaningful work atmosphere, Retina Software sees the fun within its employees to learn, grow and develop more as a part of it every day. In short, Retina Software makes your job as a calling, most probably for your lifetime as it gets meaningful recognitions with every work you do here.

During 1980’s, Apple’s co-founder Steve Jobs popularly persuaded John Sculley, president of Pepsi-Cola to resign there and join as president of Apple. He said to Sculley, “Do you want to spend the rest of your life peddling sugar water?” If you think that you want to create something more meaningful, ambitious and creatively genius, join the “university” of Retina Software. I call it ‘university’ because learning is more stressed on here than just working while dreaming about the month pay-day. So, if you want to just stop pedaling the sugar water in your life, come and join Retina Software and be a part of it.

Mobile phones or devices have grown into greatly portable and ultra-intellectual movable computers. They have highly developed operating systems and the capacity to connect to application software and networks. In the bigger evolutionary depiction, smart tablets are also now firmly rooted in today’s mobile industry situations.

Mobile devices are making into enterprises with a never-before like pace. Extensively used by sales, corporate executives, marketing professionals plus bring-your-device policy, modern IT business faces an overwhelming job to sustain a sophisticated blend of platforms applications and devices. According to a recent survey by Gartner, a leading IT firm, there would be almost 200 million gadgets sold in 2014. And another tech research by Deloitte, a consultancy firm says that enterprises would buy 25% of all mobile tablets bought in 2011.

That makes almost 50 million tablets to be in practical usage by businesses in 2014 and it doesn’t include mobile phones. So apparently, corporate IT sector is about to have a tough time while checking the allotment of application software on mobile devices among the workforce. Nevertheless, the mobile phone or mobile device users are to be educated on this issue and the potential dangers related to it. Of course, usage of mobile app software can be managed and controlled but nothing fruitful would follow unless the employees are taught how to steer the ship.

Making mobility easier for the workforce

If mobile devices are accepted at such large numbers in corporate offices then their users should be made aware of the troubleshooting ideas too. There are instances of device misplacement or theft and the hovering danger of data leakage. In such events, apps that come in handy to take care of such situations are always helpful as saviors. Professionals should understand the device management course and in such events remotely delete any inflicting information from the enterprise device. This can also be possible when an employee leaves the enterprise and the enterprise’ tech support can wipe off the data from the employee’s personal device, resolving all data confidentiality criteria.

What types of solutions can be devised

One attendee in a webinar related to the similar issue said that irrespective of whatever he does, the C-level administration in his company is in disagreement and when they are using a most advanced tablet, nothing makes it easier.

Security breaches should be minimized if they are taking toll of a company’s productivity and reputation. Obviously, this takes more than just protecting the technologies of it. About solutions, they should match with the relevance and requirement of the breach(s) happened.

Exclusive Enterprise App Shoppe
Like it or not, enterprises would delve deep in mobile device usage and we can see it going an easy sell in future. And today’s digital consumers are going to lead and IT has to glide with the flow. They would openly shop for such utility apps even if they isn’t an authorized one for them .They might ask hired developers to build some for them and their mobile employees. Sure enough, they will have unambiguous intentions for such app software that would remain undeterred in an environment of hackers, viruses, malware and so on.

In today’s fast paced world people are always on the go, whether in personal and professional life. Mobile App Development allows your business to expand by connecting offices with a centralized goal, can help you expand a specific software niche, or allow your customers to have access to your business in new ways. These mobile apps are constantly under development to better your mobile experience and can also keep you connected to your business. Mobile apps are either pre-installed on your phone from purchase or can be easily downloaded from a mobile app distribution platform such as the Apple App Store, the Android Market, or the BlackBerry App World.

Many businesses can keep you away from the office for long periods of time. This can force you to fall behind or feel like you’re not in touch with what is actually going on with your company. However, feeling the need to be in a building or office to do your job is virtually a thing of the past. Many businesses have turned to mobile app development as a solution for company connectivity. Apps can be designed to manage and sync data specific for your industry.

While normal desktop emailing continues to drop, mobile app access to email continues to sky rocket. This helps to enable growth and increases productivity. Mobile emailing is a great way to stay connected without feeling the need to rush back to the office. With mobile app development technology growing every day, you can stay connected to your businesses from just about anywhere, in methods never thought possible but realized through mobile app development.

Do you have specific software that you know can be beneficial to many people, but just don’t know how to reach them? Development of a mobile app is a fantastic way to expand your specific software niche and reach out to these customers. Perhaps you use a program that only vaguely satisfies your needs, or you use many programs for one function. With mobile app development, you can decide which functions are available on your mobile app, and set a new standard for software in that niche. By requesting for your own personal mobile app development, you can create your own software niche that works conveniently for you, and help others with similar goals.

Mobile app development can help expand your business by providing a huge opportunity to connect with current and new customers. New customers able to find and access your company through a mobile app will expand growth and visibility, while current customers now being able to connect to your company through a mobile app will increase customer satisfaction. Both of these combined can help send your business to the next level and miles ahead of the competition. In today’s world, keeping up with technology has become a necessity to survive.

Thousands of mobile apps are downloaded every day. Mobile App development is an invaluable tool to help increase visibility of your business and reach new customers. There are many reasons one would request for personalized Mobile App Development, but whatever your reasons, Retina-Software understands. We are currently in development of many apps, and you may see a few of the helpful apps we have created for ourselves on this website.

Not many American smartphone users let themselves freely enjoy their GPS services to find locations on their mobile phones. It might be that their eagerness level is not sufficient or they still find it not up to par. However, according to a new study by Pew Internet and American Life Project, only 28% of American mobile phone users have shown interest in using area-allowed services on their mobile phones.

Today, practically every smartphone has a GPS receiver to start location monitoring. But it seems strange that not everyone has turned it on. Almost 55% of American mobile phone consumers have used GPS only to see directions or suggestions.

The research was conducted on the following three basic standards of location based services:

General services: Asking directions, seeing maps or location suggestions based on your existing position.

Geosocial features: Such as Foursquare or Gowalla that asks to check-in to a locality.

Social Networks: Such as Facebook or Twitter that allows to update a status message and show location.

Only a quarter of US smartphone users have used any of the services mentioned above. This also shows that although they are also aware of various smart phone application software that augment the GPS location based service right on a mobile phone screen, they don’t seem interested in it.

This seems quite odd that in this age of increasing mobile phone solutions and their usage, people don’t seem to find it realistically useful. No one speculates on it but a partial explanation could be that most of the mobile phone users find it an unnecessary burden on the device’s battery. Many say that it negatively effects battery life for their smartphone and they prefer to turn off the GPS button when not needed.

For example, a Droid Incredible user typically turns its GPS off unless he’s requiring maps or GPS navigation. Although, he might use services like Yelp but the mobile phone tower triangulation mainly works his way out to seek something nearby.

A noticeable percentage of the US population assume that parental control strategies for mobile phones do not work. A larger side of the pie think the opposite way. Parents or employers who have provided smartphones for their children or employees feel that they must protect those under them from online hazards. Despite their understanding of the changing environment and the growing smartphone community, they still try to believe that their child’s safety with their smartphone is very well under control. Parents believe they are knowledgeable enough about the newest mobile phone technology to protect their children’s privacy and safety with mobile phones.

According to a new survey on parental control technologies conducted by Hart Research Associates on behalf of the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI), 48% of parents face difficulties while monitoring their children’s mobile internet activities. 33% of parents find it fairly difficult to control their child’s use of a smartphone. The total number of parents involved in the survey was 700.

Today, the internet-heavy atmosphere is not limited to computers, but has mushroomed into mobile phones, too. They say a child spends an average of 10 hours per week online. The indulgence of social media has increased that number. In the survey, many of the parents felt that family mentoring and guidance were not enough, and turned to monitoring software to help them learn more about the activities of their children.

The era when parents best judged their children based on their instincts is long gone. Now, kids are much smarter than their parents about changing technology and smartphone monitoring software is needed to track mobile phone activities.

So, if parents think their knowledge of technology is outdated and tracking their children’s mobile activities is next to impossible, it isn’t so. If technology has advanced, it has also created opportunities to understand and benefit from its solutions as well.

Mobile software or apps are designed in such a way that they are meant to dash on all mobile or hand-held devices, for instance, PDAs, mobile phones, EDAs, smartphones, etc. We, at Retina Software have clearly known how mobile phones are changing the way corporate people work. There may be a usual shift of usage of a mobile phone to another brand by corporate users, for instance, BlackBerry users are drifting to iPhone and Android. However, we also know that mobile phones are a best switched source to kill boredom too.

According to a recent survey by The Pew Internet & American Life Project, within the percentage of Americans using mobile phones, 43% use them to ward off boredom. This statistics has been released when a newer boom in the design and development of mobile apps has taken place with major platforms surging their app markets with both paid and free mobile apps. The apps range from business, lifestyle, religious and even entertainment. iPhone tops as the possessor of major entertainment apps. Even if you ask others that what makes them entertain the most, people would say that it’s their mobile phone with killer apps to combat boredom. Seems like be it the latest hype Angry Birds or the oldest classic version of the Snakes to play on their mobile phones, their mobile phones are all fun and games.

This trend occurring lately is a clear symptom of a new habit amongst mobile phone users, i.e. addiction to their mobile phones. And this is plainly happening because of great mobile apps pertaining to all major domains of life. Last year, a Lithuanian mobile phone application store, GetJar, released a study that the mobile app downloads would leap from 7 billion in 2009 to roughly 50 billion next year (2012).

Nowadays, new mobile technology talks about accessing internet over Wi-Fi c onnection. This has made surfing the web much convenient and mobile as it lets cell phone users carry out important functions such as mobile banking and GPS. However, the fact that they are not aware of is that surfing the internet through an unsafe Wi-Fi connection could make them shake hands with troubles.

In the wake of the recent incidents of mobile phone hacking scandal, engaging News of the World journalists, it has been made clear with the possibility of vulnerable cell phone consumers falling prey for unsecured Wi-Fi connections. As with the advent of smarter cell phones, it has been on rise as hackers find the gateways to hack through mobile phones with internet running on an unsafe Wi-Fi connection.

The usual mobile phone hacking method opted by hackers is started by luring people through a free Wi-Fi mobile hotspot.
